Editorial independence
Every score, verdict, and fact on this site comes from a founder’s own visit — never from a venue’s own submission, and never bought or negotiated. A venue can correct a fact that’s wrong. It cannot buy, remove, or edit a fair opinion built on the facts. See /editorial for how the trust labels work.
The evidence standard
Every claim on this site is written as what was observed, when, and under what conditions — not as a permanent fact. Wi-Fi speed, laptop policy, plug availability, and noise all change over time, which is why every score and fact on a venue’s page carries the date it was last checked.
No safety or accessibility guarantee
A visit captures what a founder observed on one occasion — it is not a comprehensive safety, health, or accessibility audit, and nothing on this site should be relied on as one. Conditions at a venue can change after a visit and before you read this page.
Corrections, not suppression
A venue may flag a fact it believes is wrong, and we will investigate and correct anything that genuinely is. A venue may not use a correction request to suppress a fair opinion it simply dislikes — the two are handled differently, on purpose.
How to request a correction
Use the “Suggest a correction” link on any venue’s page, or email hello@apha.work. Every correction request is reviewed by a person, not auto-applied.
Intellectual property
The text, scores, and photography on this site are work apha’s own — please don’t republish a verdict or a photo elsewhere without asking first.
